Module 2:  Health Records

This module provides valuable advice to all members on the importance of maintaining proper medical records for patients.  Medico-legal, Medical Board and Medicare requirements are covered.  This module is a quick and easy way of fulfilling PSS requirements and earning PD points.  It will take around one hour to complete.

Please note: You will need your MIPS member number to log in, and your PD number to earn points.

How do I complete the module?

1. Fill in the registration details using your MIPS member number as your username.
2. Click "sign up" to continue to the online module.

You can then begin the activity and progress through the slides by clicking the "next" button on the screen.  Previous slides can be viewed by clicking the "back" button.

• Some screens require a typed response in the text box before progress to the next slide is allowed.
• Video vignettes can be accessed by pressing the video on the screen.
• At the end of the activity, complete the evaluation page and a certificate of completion will be emailed to you.  If appropriate, your MIPS record will be noted for completion of your PSS risk management requirement.
